OKR Implementer Training
For the person who makes OKRs run.
The OKR Focus Flow defines two critical roles in any implementation. This programme trains the OKR Implementation Manager — the person responsible for running the cycle, facilitating sessions, and building the internal capability that makes OKRs self-sustaining.
The OKR Implementation Manager role
Is this the right training for you?
This is for the person accountable for running the OKR system — not just participating in it. The OKR Focus Flow calls this the OKR Implementation Manager. If OKRs stall between cycles, it almost always comes down to a gap in this role.
- OKR Implementation Managers leading an OKR rollout
- OKR Champions and internal OKR leads
- Chiefs of Staff and Heads of Operations
- HR, L&D and People teams running OKR programmes
- PMO and Transformation leads responsible for OKR governance
The problem this solves
Most OKR rollouts fail between cycles, not during them. Teams complete the training, set their OKRs, then lose momentum when no one owns the process from the inside.
This programme gives your OKR Implementation Manager the skills to run cycles independently — facilitating sessions, coaching teams, keeping the process honest, and building capability that doesn't rely on external support.
What we cover
Training for the OKR Implementation Manager
Four modules that map to the core responsibilities of the role — running the cycle, tracking progress, facilitating workshops and building the internal capability the system needs to sustain itself.
Running the OKR cycle
How to own the end-to-end OKR process — planning timelines, facilitation guides, review cadences and retrospective structures.
Tracking and reporting OKRs
How to build a tracking system that's honest, lightweight and actually used — including scoring guidance and progress conversation frameworks.
Facilitating OKR workshops
Practical facilitation skills for running OKR kick-offs, check-ins and reviews. Handling conflict, resistance and disengagement in the room.
Building internal OKR capability
How to train teams, create resources and embed the habits that make OKRs self-sustaining — so it doesn't all rely on one person.
Why choose this course
What sets this programme apart
Built for OKR Implementation Managers
This programme is designed specifically for the person accountable for running the OKR system — not general OKR awareness. It maps directly to the OKR Implementation Manager role in the OKR Focus Flow.
Reduces dependency on external support
We help you build the internal capability to facilitate, coach and sustain OKRs yourselves — without needing consultants every cycle.
Heavy on facilitation practice
A significant part of this programme is live facilitation practice — running OKR sessions, handling tricky conversations and building your confidence in the room.
Often combined with implementation
Many clients run this programme alongside our OKR Consulting or Implementation service — building internal capability while we lead the rollout.
FAQs
Common questions
Who is this training for?
This is for the OKR Implementation Manager — the person accountable for running the OKR system, not just participating in it. If OKRs stall between cycles, it almost always comes down to a gap in this role. Chiefs of Staff, Heads of Operations, L&D leads and anyone who needs to facilitate, track and sustain OKRs across a whole organisation will also benefit.
How does this relate to the OKR Focus Flow?
The OKR Focus Flow defines two primary roles in any successful implementation: the OKR Implementation Manager and the OKR Coach. This training programme is built specifically for the Implementation Manager role — covering the facilitation, cycle management and capability-building skills that role requires.
Is this the same as team OKR training?
No — team training teaches people how to write and use OKRs. This programme teaches people how to run the system: facilitation, tracking, coaching teams through it, and building internal capability that doesn't rely on external support.
How long is the programme?
Most OKR Implementer training runs as a full day. We can also break it into shorter sessions across a cycle so participants can practise and return with real questions.
Can this be combined with consulting?
Yes — this is one of the most effective combinations. We lead the initial OKR rollout while simultaneously upskilling your internal Implementation Manager, so you're not dependent on us after the first cycle.

This session is often combined with OKR Consulting or Implementation to build lasting internal capability. Tell us your situation and we'll recommend the right approach.
